Thank you Jens and David.

I found that if I replaced "twm" with "startkde" in my .vnc/xstartup
script, it worked!

Hi Rich,
i don't know what you want to do. But normaly "kdm" is the default
Displaymanager shipped with KDE. Try it and i should work.
