Hi Senthil,

Redhat Linux setup has VNC server by default. If you have loaded VNC service
then you can start the service by typing service vncserver start

then type vncserver, it will prompt you to enter a password.

Once you do this then you can connect from any Win OS or any X OS

good day :)

Regards

Sarvanan

Subject: Remote desktop for Linux Environment

Hi,

I would like to know whether VNC provides Remote desktop for Linux
Environment. I want to access Linux desktop from Windows NT. I already
running VNC server in Linux and accessing from Windows NT using VNC viewer.
But to me this looks remote shell.
Is there any other VNC sofware provides to access full linux desktop
environment from Windows? (such as KDE Control Pannel , Network
configuration,Process Management). I would appreciate if you could reply for
this mail with the answer.

Thanks
Senthil
