I just realized I omitted an important piece of information. I tried "-cc 3" per the VNC FAQ. What happens is really weird. The application seems to run as a monochrome negative. Consistently. Until I exit the application. Then, for a couple of seconds before it disappears from the screen, the colors are EXACTLY RIGHT. Tantalizing, and frustrating. Why does it look right just at the end, and how can I make it look right all the time?
This behaviour occurs with both AT&T and Tightvnc, at both ends. Again, thanks for any and all help.
