Well, for all the good that reading license documents usually does, thinking of
doughnuts is A Good Thing.

My usual approach to licenses for source code is a variation on FUD.  If it says
"GNU", I do whatever I want and just make sure that I redistribute the complete
modified source if I'm redistributing the application.  If it says anything
else, I try to avoid it.
