Is it you want to send a keystroke to a vncserver (Xvnc) without using a vncviewer? Why? I think it must be able to make a keyboard only vnc'viewer' from the source just by stripping a lot of code. Or is it because you want to send a keystroke to an other Xserver (XFree or such)? I consider this hacking in X11. Sorry, wrong addres. If it's for a M$Windows like vnc setup at a unix Xserver, have a look at http://xf4vnc.sourceforge.net/ . It's for XFree 4.2 as found with most current linux distributions.
