Im trying to VNC (latest rev) from a Win XP Pro to a solaris (2.8) machine I
have.
I can connect but when prompted for a password, I try every password I have
under the sun, but to no avail.
I then run the vncpasswd app like this
./vncpasswd <thepassword> passwordfile
Try to connect again and get the same results.
I try restart vnc with ./vncserver stop ./vncserver start
And get mixed results, sometimes it starts other times it fails and tells me
I will need a password to access my desktops, but doesn't actually start.
