Hi,

I've set up WinVNC on my NT 4.0 box and x2vnc on my Solaris 2.6 machine. So,
I'm using my Sun keyboard and mouse on both NT and Solaris. Everything works
well, except when I use FrameMaker 6.0 under Windows, my F-keys don't behave
as they should. For example, pressing F8 is supposed to allow me to select a
character format by typing its name. Instead, when I press the key, Frame
flashes the list of formats, but it doesn't "stick" (i.e., the list
disappears before I can type anything). If I turn off WinVNC and use my
local NT keyboard and mouse, everything works as it should. If I try to use
my local keyboard and mouse without turning off WinVNC, I still experience
the problem. Has anyone seen this before? Is there a fix?

Thanks in advance,
Koby Rosenschein
