Yes. There is nothing to see a the server if it is not powered. If no-one looks at the monitor, that one can be off. > 2 Should the server be always connected to web, if I want > to view it from remote viewer? If you use the web to connect to your server. If you have an interal network to connect to the server, that will do. > 3 What would happen if the server becomes sleeping mode? the vncserver sleeps to. For the vncserver to run, the server must be awake. > 4 Can I operate server applications, files and/or settings, > from viwer? You have (almost) full control > 5 Can I down-load the server files to viwer, assuming equal > applicatin is installed? Not using vnc. Since vnc uses tcp/ip to connect to the server, you can use other protocols to move files between the machines. > 6 Or, Can I print the server files directly from the image > screen, at the viwer environment? You can do a screendump from the vncviewer. You cannot use vnc to print from a serverbased application to a printer at the viewer machine, you cannot use vnc for this. > 7 Is VNC good for WINDOWS-XP? Yep. Consult the list argives for problems and solutions.
