Hi there!
I know that this topic has been discussed several times but I still have a
lot of questions as I am not that familiar with network configuration. So
perhaps you can give me some hints. I want to establish a remote access
connection from computer A to computer B. Our configuration is as follows
(see also attached file):
In Office 1 Computer A (with the VNC Viewer and an assigned IP-Adess
192.168.10.xxx) is connected to another computer via a Switchbox. This other
computer (also with a is running a ProxyPlus-Server and connects to the
internet via ISDN-Modem.The IP-Adress for InternetConnection is assigned
dynamically The Proxy-Server is not specially configured, just
standard-installation was made and it works.
In Office 2 Computer B (with the VNC Server and an assigned IP-Adresse
192.168.10.yyy) is connected to another computer via two hubs. This other
computer is NOT running a ProxyServer and connects to the internet via an
analogue modem. The IP-Adress for InternetConnection is assigned
dynamically.
So, the way from A to B is: Computer A -> SwitchBox -> Computer (with
ProxyPlus,ISDN-Modem) -> INTERNET -> Computer (with analogue modem) ->
Hub -> Hub -> Computer B (with VNC Server).
Now, is it possible to connect from computer A to computer B using VNC???

Regards

Stefan Giese
