VNC works great on our network we use it to administer servers on the LAN and
over our WAN. We are having a problem using VNC to connect to machines over
the Internet through our MS Proxy Server.

We have a Windows 2000 server with SP2 running MS proxy 2.0. The only thing
this server is used for is MS Proxy. We have about 100 users that gateway to
the Internet through this server. Average load is about 15 users at a time.

Several of us techs have the Proxy client installed on our machines and most
of the time if we connect to a VNC host over the Internet we connect ok but at
a random time after, the Proxy server reboots. Sometimes we can be on there
for a good 15 min or so other times it's a couple of min and it reboots. As
long as we don't connect through the server with VNC the server does not
reboot. We can use other apps like Citrix, ftp, etc with the proxy client with
no problems.

We have reinstalled the server from scratch thinking there was some corruption
or something. Still happens after the install.

Has anyone experienced this?
