Chris, There is a way to prevent the second user from disconnecting your session. You will need to create a new key in the registry of the VNC server machine.
In the registry location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL\WinVNC3 create a new DWORD key named "ConnectPriority" with a value of "2". This will cause the server to refuse the new connection. In normal operation my session gets disconnected and they are then connected. No warning messages or anything. Seems hardly fair!
