The problem with dns2go is that they don't provide for redundent dynamic
update servers, meaning that if their Internet backbone connection is
down, you're dead in the water.

I'm not referring to primary or secondary DNS servers, since most DDNS
service providers have multiple DNS servers to answer name queries for
your Internet name, I'm talking about the dynamic update servers that
their client software talks to to send it your current IP address.

www.planetdns.net has client software that automatically selects the
closest regional dynamic update service provider and switches affinity to
it automatically. It also provides strong (256-bit) encryption of all
name registration and dynamic update exchanges.

My two cents worth, and yes, I'm biased :)
