Bluetooth has a range of upto 10 meters, if you're that close to the machine
would you use VNC?

The only application I can see for VNC over Bluetooth would be to control a
server in a server room from a laptop, terminal, or PDA which is moved
around, but I don't beleive it would have a huge appeal.

I would (personally) prefer VNC development to be concentrated on speed,
security, and reliability, than to have precious developers time spent on
comms protocols which have a limited appeal. I'm sure that TCP/IP will be
(or already is being) layered over Bluetooth by equipment vendors when both
ends of the bluetooth connection are capable of supporting it.
