Compileing VNC

Hi All:
 I have downloaded the VNC code. I am making small changes to the Dispatch
routine present in dispatch.c. However, if i want to compile the code, it
takes a lot of time as all the modules are compiled.
Is there a way that i could restrict my compilation to just the dispatch.c and
ite dependant modules.
Appreciate the help.
