Hello, The way in which VNCon ( http://vncon.chronetal.co.uk ) works when scanning a subdomain, it actually tries to connect to the port in question running VNC instead of pinging the machine. I am in the process of rewriting it as well (but is taking longer than anticipated for _various_ reasons) but the current version is worth the look. There is also VNCScan ( tgcs.web-it.com/vncscan/ ) by Steve Bostedor which has similar functionality, but that might work by pinging the machines. Hope this information is useful!
