Hi, like others I'm experiencing problems with the RGB_DB on SCO. Unlike other systems I previously installed VNC on, the current one lacks this /usr/lib/X11/rgb path, there is only the rgb.txt file. The startup of vncserver fails with the error message:
Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt' _XSERVTransPTSOpenServer: Unable to link /dev/pts001 to /dev/X/server.1 _XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for pts/vk01727b:1 _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for pts _XSERVTransISCOpenServer: failed connect pipes _XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for isc/vk01727b:1 _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for isc _XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for sco/vk01727b:1 _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for sco Fatal server error: Failed to establish all listening sockets xrdb: I/O error xrdb: Can't open display 'vk01727b:1' xsetroot: unable to open display 'vk01727b:1' Error: Can't open display: vk01727b:1 I tried a few things: omit the RGB path, change the RGB path etc. What else can I do?
