The x0rfb has no gui of its own. The borders you see on the outside are the viewers borders. The look and feel you see on the inside are the used windowmanager (twm, fvwm,...) or the used displaymanager (kde, gnome, ...) Since you use the x0rfb, you need to alter what you have at the console of the machine. If you have both kde and gnome installed, logout and at the moment you login, you can select the windowmanager.
