Wow! Amazing response!
I've tried just about every implementation I can find. Latest RealVNC, Tridia, Tight, and a few others...
All versions that have a Solaris version seem to have the issue.
I'll gladly try any fix when available.

Thanks a lot!
Daryl

Hi Daryl,

OK I've spent several painful hours tracking this down (I'm not surprised
the other guy gave up - it's a #define hell :-). It turns out to be a bug
in the X server cfb code where there's a special "optimised" case which only
gets used on sparc processors when filling rectangles with a tile pattern
and using >8 bit pixels (!). Mozilla provokes the problem because of the
stippled background to its scrollbars.

I'll let you know when I can give you a fixed version to try - hopefully we
should get it into the upcoming 3.3.5 release.

Cheers

Tristan
