I'm new to VNC but I do understand its fucntionality. I tested the VNC viewer (windows 2000 pro) and the VNC server on (windows 2000 pro). This setup worked well. The problem is when I use the VNC server on the windows 2000 server and the VNC viewer on one of the windows 2000 pro. I can enter the IP address of the server (it goes through) then I enter the password (it also goes through) but nothing is being displayed on the workstation. I checked the port on the server and it's listening on 5900. When I tried connecting to the server I then checked the ports (nbtstat -a) and there is a line that states that the connection attempted between the server and the workstation has a state of Time_await.
