It's usually a good thing to post this to the list owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] posting here just helps creating another message for his moronic mail server to bounce back to the list. That said, this is all happening because this list is (mis)configured to munge reply to and try to force all replies to the list. If it didn't have reply-to munging, this loop would have never happened On Wed, Nov 06, 2002 at 10:56:42AM +0100, "Beerse, Corni" wrote: > The best thing the list can do is removing him from the list or (if > possible) disabling the forwarding to his mail account. Everyone who did was obviously asleep when you posted, but they apparently fixed it when they got to work this morning :-) On Wed, Nov 06, 2002 at 12:11:33PM -0000, Ben Blackmore wrote: > How about sending a email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (his work domain i > think [EMAIL PROTECTED]) asking them to freeze his account or > something? I have done so, I hope you have too. At the same time, tell them to burn their Novell mail server and replace it with something that never answers 1) a message from a list (Precedence: bulk/list) 2) to a reply-to or even a from, it should send the answer to the envelope from if at all possible http://marc.merlins.org/netrants/autoresponders.txt On Wed, Nov 06, 2002 at 08:46:27AM -0700, Seth Kurtzberg wrote: > Is there a practical way to filter out autoresponder messages?
