On a FreeBSD-CURRENT system, with gcc 3.2.1 (prerelease), I'm having a bit of trouble getting Xvnc built. I'm actually trying to get an update of the VNC port for FreeBSD going, and this is the only thing that's being a pain, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me what I messed up.
Well, after cd'ing to Xvnc and executing 'make World', it goes on for a while before dying: c++ -o Xvnc -O2 -ansi -pedantic -Dasm=__asm -L../../exports/lib dix/libdix.a os/libos.a ../../lib/Xau/libXau.a ../../lib/Xdmcp/libXdmcp.a ../../exports/lib/libfont.a hw/vnc/libvnc.a ../../../rdr/librdr.a ../../../rfb/librfb.a ../../../zlib/libz.a cfb/libcfb.a cfb16/libcfb.a cfb24/libcfb.a cfb32/libcfb.a mfb/libmfb.a dix/libxpstubs.a mi/libmi.a Xext/libext.a -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lm -Wl,-R,/usr/X11R6/lib c++: os/libos.a: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 (continuing) `all' not remade because of errors. Mon Nov 18 00:33:33 EST 2002 Full build of Release 6.3 of the X Window System complete. Of course, there is no Xvnc binary. I can't figure out what os/libos.a is or where it's supposed to be, or if this is just a quirk showing up on FreeBSD. Comments appreciated. I'm not subscribed to the list, please cc any replies. Thanks. -- Munish Chopra _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
