Forwarding port 5800 only gives you access to the web server that gives you the java applet. You still need to forward port 5900 for VNC to talk over. JVM = Java Virtual Machine. Due to some legal issues with Sun, Microsoft has been doing an on-again, off-again with it's JVM included with IE. Of course since you were getting a java error you have a JVM, it is just a matter of if it is from Sun or Microsoft. Since you don't have the ports forwarded, though, that is the problem. -- William Hooper _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
