I'm not sure there is a "correct" answer here.  I know Redhat by defaults
sets the hostname to 127.0.0.1 (localhost), but that usually causes some
strangeness.  I would say that it should be set to the interface with the
default route.  For example if your default router is 192.168.0.1 I would
point it to the 192.168.0.0 address.
