I'm sure this question must have been asked and answered, but although I
have trawled the FAQ and mailing list I can't see a simple explanation that
I can understand.
I have VNC set up and have no problems in accessing my PC from other
private PC's via the web browser. However what I need to be able to do is
log in from public services, i.e. libraries, internet cafes, office
networks etc. I can get as far as connecting to my machine and getting the
password screen back, but then cannot connect, the password is sent, but
the session is timed out.
I have limited computer knowledge so if any clever people can give me an
answer in simple language I would appreciate it, or if it isn't possible,
for someone to tell me that!
