Are you positive you do did not download the installer program itself to
your startup folder. It seems simple but it should be worth looking at.

Subject: removing Winvnc

HI agian. The instructions you have provided below did not help in
removing
winvnc program. The installer program still comes on everytime I start
up my
laptop winxp o/s. I was unable to find the folder runservices under edit

registry. Does it go by a differnt file name?

Thanks for respond.

You can do this: edit registry
>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunService
s
>delete every winVNC itens,
>delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL and
>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL
>
>then, delete the winVNC files
>
>I belive it should solve your problem

Best Regards,
Duc Sue
