I really wish ppl would search the list. We can only answer the question so many times till we get sick of answering the same file the same way.
It sounds like you have configuration hell. Current user settings are conflicting with the local machine (default) settings. Easy fix. Delete from the registry hkey_current_user/software/orl/winvnc3. Restart winvnc and all should be fine assuming you have a default password set. To check this click on the start button -> programs -> real vnc -> server -> show default settings. (NOTICE the title bar). Also check this before deleting the current user key.
