William,
thanks for reply. Look at "AuthHosts" and > "QuerySetting" in the > advanced options docs. Either I searched at the wrong spot or you misinterpreted my question. The optimum solution for my problem is an optional userprompt on connect to the server, asking the user whether he will allow remote control to his ws or not, terminating the connection on negative answer. I already have established an admin-only access to vnc by only starting the service on demand and stopping it after I disconnect. But I fear this won't suffice to make an agreement with the worker's committee, for I _could_ silently audit users. Anyway I am very sure an official implementation of this in vnc would not only be interesting for my cause, but for lots of ppl working in countries with restrictive privacy rules. To put it to the point, this would be the "workers committee"-killer option, making vnc privacy-law conform at least in germany. Surely I could work this out or let this be worked out on my own, but I truly ain't the best c-programmer, and it still would be an isolated solution which surely would be interesting to more ppl.
