We were using WinVNC 3.3.3r7 on our servers. Due to a mandate to
standardize the system, we had to set numbers and passwords for all the
servers which follow a specific formula.

Once the new VNC is installed on the server, the password is set, and the
numbering sequence, we logoff the NT Session. Connecting back to the server
however, requires that we not use the numbering sequence, and we use the old
password.

Some poking around the registry uncovers a USERKEY for VNC and a LOCAL
Machine KEY - The password fields are different.

Has anyone seen this problem.

The installs were done overtop of the old version.

Thanks,

Curtis Kruschel
