Are you in a Windows domain? if you are, just using the smae name will not work correctly. All Windows NT and W2k machines have to join the domain. as each machine joins the domain, they are assign a GUID which is unique in the domain. even if you name the computers the same they will have a different GUID hence not the same machine.Not an issue for WinVNC since it uses hostnames, not NT domain credentials. The GUID is irrelevant.
