So a message went to him, his out of office replied to the list, which was then sent to him, which the out of office replied to again, it went around and around for a whole day, I remember my inbox receiving about 250 emails just from his auto out of office replying to itself.Ben, I think something like that may have happened 2 or 3 times in total - that is, with 2 or 3 different users over the past couple years. Still, your basic point is apt: it was not a common occurrence. Moreover, I've *never seen it happen in many lists which *do* use the "Reply-To:<list>" header, so it's possible to deal appropriately with dumb email autoresponders.
