We have installed the Chromatix server on a PowerMac G4 running MAC OS 9.0.4 (in a remote office), and have successfully connected to it from a Win32 client (in a different office).
The problem is that, currently, someone needs to be logged in to the MAC for the VNC server to be available for remote access. This strikes me as odd, and I am wondering what we are missing in this process that allows the Mac to be at the log on screen so and still allow remote access through VNC. Unfortunately, none of the people in either office are really Macintosh knowledgeable. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks P.M.
