I installed vnc on a win2k machine, without admin. So no service and limited if not any registry
entries.

I can run the winvnc as an app and it works fine. I can run vncviewer etc and work remotely.
However when I lock the win2k workstation. I cannot connect to the machine anymore until I
unlock it at the workstation.

Is there a way to make winvnc look at the setting of current user? I can't run regedit or
anything on the machine.

Any ideas?

Install VNC using an administrative account. If you don't have the administrator password, or administrative privileges with your own account, then ask your system administrator for permission to install software on your workstation.
