I cannot connect to a computer through a router.
You need to setup port-forwarding on port 5900 (5900+DISPLAY#) to the computer in your LAN. If you want to use the java viewer you also need to forward port 5800+DISPLAY#.
PS: Would be somehow helpful to provide us some details about the router, operating system of the (vnc-)server.
