I currently have VNC Server and viewer running on a Win2000 box. The server is setup to run as a service. I am trying to connect to this box with VNC viewer installed on a Win98 laptop at work. I have tried connecting using internet explorer as well. There are no cable/dsl routers involved, so I should be able to connect directly into the Win2000 pc. I am wondering if there are restrictions in place at work that are preventing me from connecting to my home pc. btw I am able to ping the Win2000 pc from work successfully.
