So you are saying Putty crashes when it is trying to connect, or that the vncviewer crashes when you try to connect to the localhost tunnel? If you are having trouble with PuTTY your best bet is the comp.security.ssh newsgroup. They can help you out with both your SSH server and your PuTTY client. If the vncviewer is the one crashing, please give us more info: What version of VNC are you using? What OS is the VNC server on? What make and version of SSH server are you using? What OS is the SSH server on? What EXACTLY are you typing/clicking when you are trying to get VNC to work? Does the PuTTY log give any errors? That should be good enough for a start. -- William Hooper All wiyht ... rho sritched mg kegtops awound ? _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
