        Heya. Here's what I do with my in-laws (no, really):
have them start a VNC Server and "Add Client...". That connects
their Server to your Viewer, sort of a "backwards connection"
(better called a server-initiated connection). This way, you
tell your Mum what web address to type in, and don't have to
ask her to go looking for any IP addresses. If you're signed
up for a DnyDNS service, you could even tell her to type in
something, errr, useful like: "MySonWantsAPS2forXMas.noip.com"...
