All of this seems to point to a problem at your end, not so much the connection but 
the software. wether that is vnc or something else doing something wrong is a bit hard 
to determine... Ideas:

- virusscanner: vnc was recently used in a virus. An overly protective scanner may 
interfere, e.g. say you have norton's personal firewall (whatever it is called), it 
might have been updated to block vnc ports because of this. (NOTE: I do _not_ know if 
this the case, but it could be...)
- on the other end, same thing: if you install a certain virusscanner on each clients 
pc, it might have removed, stopped or otherwise blocked the vnc server on their end.
- what exactly does 'I cannot connect' mean in your case (error msg?).
- try telnetting to ports 5800 and 5900 of your clients pc, this will make sure they 
are reachable.
- reinstall vnc (on your side: just re-download the vnc viewer) to see if anything has 
been removed.
