All of this seems to point to a problem at your end, not so much the connection but the software. wether that is vnc or something else doing something wrong is a bit hard to determine... Ideas:
- virusscanner: vnc was recently used in a virus. An overly protective scanner may interfere, e.g. say you have norton's personal firewall (whatever it is called), it might have been updated to block vnc ports because of this. (NOTE: I do _not_ know if this the case, but it could be...) - on the other end, same thing: if you install a certain virusscanner on each clients pc, it might have removed, stopped or otherwise blocked the vnc server on their end. - what exactly does 'I cannot connect' mean in your case (error msg?). - try telnetting to ports 5800 and 5900 of your clients pc, this will make sure they are reachable. - reinstall vnc (on your side: just re-download the vnc viewer) to see if anything has been removed.
