Hi everybody! I have published a little patch and a program that together make it possible to start VNC servers in Unix on demand and run a program without going through an XDM login screen. This is for cases where you want the program to be available to everyone, or your program has its own database of users (like web applications usually have).
I submitted this patch to RealVNC a while ago, but since it didn't turn up in version 3.3.7 I decided to make it available in this way.
