I used to check into my pc from elsewhere using VNC all the time. Sometime recently, it stopped working. I can ping my pc from anywhere, but not log in via VNC.
I have completely uninstalled VNC, including removing all registry entries I could find on my win98 system, and then reinstalled the latest version. I see it sitting in my system tray, it appears just like it does on the half dozen or so other computers I use VNC on. I have no firewall software enabled, it's set to the normal port, I have no idea what could be wrong... Anyone have any ideas what I could try to figure out the problem?? All I get is a dialog box saying "Could not connect to server". Help! Linas Muliolis p.s.
