Richard,
thanks for your tip !
Thats EXACTLY what I was looking for! Will use ultravnc for now.

Since this is an OPTION - I don`t get it into my mind, why this is SUCH security risk
and a
reason for leaving it out.

On my Machine I AM the only one who works and starts programs - and what I type into
them at
startup - i`d like to provide on the commandline,too. (special purpose - y`know? ;)

what about:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/proddocs/net_use.asp

or

http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/man/smbclient.1.html

??
rawpasswords on commandline :)

OK - I understand that this CAN be a security problem - many people are mindless
regardings such - but
leaving a "feature" out because just of this ? ( These people also put sticky notes
with their password
on the border of their screen, too ! ;)

IMHO, at least this could be an "not so well documented" feature in the standard
vncviewer,too.

Regards
Roland
