It looks like its aimed directly at the VNC list, as both emails talk about VNC in the body of the email. It could be that the virus attachments launch a backdoor program or something that needs VNC to work, this way they'd be able to distribute it to people who are more likely to have VNC on their PCs!
Do we have a traitor amongst us? Maybe someone from another remote admin program! GoToMyPc? Control IT? PC Anywhere? Or maybe I'm being paranoid!
