Is the best way to connect to someone with dialup, using vnc, by finding out the temporary real world IP address they are assigned at that time you want to connect to them. Or can you connect the normal way with vnc and enter the name of the pc and port number. (ex. host:5800). I guess why I wonder is sure you have the name of the pc and whatever number you want to distinguish it by for the port number, but who is to say that there is not someone on the internet that happens to have the same name and number? How then does vnc distinguish who is who? Thank you for anyones help, as well as thank you for all the past help I have recieved.
