[Lieberman] Bjvrn - Thanks for verifying that you have got this working with Redhat 7.2. I will make the tests that you have suggested and post when I have more information. Joel Lieberman
[Lieberman] <snip> Joel I have tested with VNC 3.3.7 on Redhat 7.2, and I don't have your problem. I start the server with "vncserver -alwaysshared". Then I start two viewers in non-shared mode, and they both stay connected. If I start the server with just "vncserver", then the first viewer is kicked out when the second one connects. So it works just like the documentation says. Have you checked the log for error messages? Have you verified that the server you connect to is the one you started with "-alwaysshared" and not another instance that was started earlier? Have you verified that "-alwaysshared" does get added to the command line of XVNC? Any one of the graphical replacements for PS and Top should be able to show the full command line. I use KPM.
