I'm running XP Pro on my server computer and 98 on the viewing pc. I've tried both the latest version of RealVNC as well as TightVNC. The computer running the viewer is on the other side of both the router and the cable modem. Also I am able to connect to the server from a pc on the lan.
When I tried TightVNC it jumps to a could not connect message right after entering the password. Thanks. Chris Quoting "Benjamin J.
