Hi.

I've posted this a few days ago but couldn't find
something that really solves my problem.

What I need to do is to establish a reverse connection
through VNC that happens to sit behind a Proxy Server
and a Firewall. The idea is for us to run VNC Viewer
in Listen Mode locally (PC_LOCAL), dial to the remote
PC (PC_OVERSEAS) via PCAnywhere and a Modem (incurring
IDD costs) and from PC_OVERSEAS establish connection
to PC_LOCAL via the internet (This gets rid of paying
up huge amount of $ for IDD). Therefore, from PC_LOCAL
we can remotely control PC_OVERSEAS.

The problem I'm facing is that I can't seem to get the
PC_OVERSEAS VNC to work through the Proxy Server and
Firewall. I know that certain ports can be opened up,
allowing traffic to go through, but that isn't
something that's possible since our client -- to where
we installed PC_OVERSEAS -- won't allow that.

Could somebody please give me a information (detailed,
if possible) on how to get it to work? I've tried
checking out HTTP Tunneling but it seems that we have
to install some software on the Proxy Server which
just isn't possible (my PL does not want the client to
know we're gonna run VNC through their firewall and
proxy server).

Thanks in advance.

Jax Santiago
