Hello all, I have just installed WinVNC Server 3.3.7 onto a Windows XP box and WinVNC Viewer 3.3.7 onto a Windows 98 box and have encountered a minor problem.
Tooltips do not appear on the remote display (although they do appear on the local display). Tooltips are normally very useful as they can provide information without having to navigate through other dialog boxes and so I was hoping that there is a way to make these work. I have tried changing the VNCServer Update handling settings from "Poll Foreground Window" to "Poll Full Screen" but this has no affect on the appearance of tooltips. As a possibly related (though not so important issue) my animated cursor does not animate on the remote display either. Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there a solution?
