some minutes ago I tried to connect with two vnc clients under Linux which i wrote to one vnc server. Both logging in while not accessing exclusive rights. Both were pure visitors using the RRE encoding.
One client runs for hours without any problems. (There's a clock, the windows taskmanager showing the cpu and mem graph and a website with flashing banners.. in short words: my testenvironment.
It is a Windows2000 pc running WinVNC v.3.3.7 (started some weeks ago).
What happened is that after I logged in with the second client that client did get strange rectangles sometimes and one of my clients crashed (both were connected from the same computer to the server).
Even two "original" vncviewers under Linux have the same problem, it seems that some updates are sent to the wrong client.
Is there any problem known with such a configuration?
