Hi everyone, Currently I'm trying to access my office PC from home. The office PC works through a firewall. When I introduce the sentence 'localhost:5900' and then the password nothing happens.
Introducing the wrong password I receive an answer from the VNC server, saying 'VNC authentication failed' . That would indicate that there is connection between the server and the viewer, but I don't understand why the viewer doesn't open when the correct password is introduced. The system works correctly in the opposite direction, i.e. I can access my home PC from the office PC. Today i'll check the energy management settings in order to be sure that the video card and/or the hard disk are not sleeping. Any other clues about the reasons for this malfunctioning ?
