I have a Red Hat Linux 7.3 system. I installed vnc-server-3.3.3r2-28.2
(the current Red Hat release of VNC for RH 7.3). I used the Service
Configuration ("seviceconf") tool to automatically launch vncserver at
boot time. I modified my "/etc/sysconfig/vncservers" file to launch the
server as user "seitz":VNCSERVERS="1:seitz"
When I use vncviewer to connect to this system, I appear to be running as user "seitz". I see the correct desktop environment for user seitz, and the command prompts and home directory all indicate that I am user seitz. However, the PATH variable appears to be set for user "root".
How can I get the PATH variable to be set to the PATH of user "seitz"? _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
