Compatibility problem, with offical downloads:
1) "VNC 3.3.3 beta 2" server on MacOS 7.5.5. "RealVNC 3.3.7 viewer, Build Mar 5 2003 13:54:22" on W2k, SP3.
Error message of the VNC server on the Mac, when I try to access it by a RealVNC viewer on a W2k computer:
"Sorry, a system error occured. ' VNCServerPPC' error type 11 - Reboot".
The MacOS viewer may address the W2k server properly.
2) "VNC 3.3.3 beta 2" server on MacOS 7.5.5, "RealVNC 3.3.3 R3 viewer" on W2k, SP3 work together properly !
So currently I MUST switch back to the 3.3.3 viewer, for Mac observation.
